Have  received excellent response from councils.

And the answer ,there are great opportunites in some regional areas : like City of Greater Geelong, City of Port  Lincoln, City of  Karratha, City of Geraldton, City of Gladstone.  When I have “spare ” time.  I expect to give you all, much more specific detail. Currently, I can suggest one obtain as much local, detailed and specific data for your preferred suburb from your local council.!!! Much of the valuable research is FREE.
Find out where the new Freeway, Marina, Shopping centre, Airport, Housing estate,Tram line, Railway station or university.

SOLAR PANELS FOR THE ROOF

November 30, 2009 by Tim

I am reading about new solar panels from the USA, which are silicone embeded into malleable material, that one can roll out to apply to the roof.  One can employ unskilled labour. These are much cheaper to install, as they don’t require glass sheeting. The expected large  up take volume  should soon start to dramatically reduce the capital cost.

Property Growth Suburbs

How do you find these growth suburbs.? Enclosed below one formula for Melbourne.

Obtain the Victorian government growth and development plan, called :”Melbourne 2030″‘ . This details the 28 Principal Activity Centres where the government and councils will accellerate plans for faster transport access to the city. This is usually better train stations, trams and bus interchanges.
In these suburbs, the government will allow closer development of retail centres and Apartments. More and more people are looking to live within easy access to shops and transport. These 28 Principal Activity Centres are likely to be the future growth areas. One can research on line at www.dse.vic.gov.au/melbourne2030online.Currently , developers are all looking at areas , near tram lines and new tram lines.

Technology update economy implications!!

November 26, 2009 by Tim
Filed under Ebook, new building products, tips

Readers who like to closely follow technology might read this update.
Just as six years ago, the USA government invited HP and IBM to develop a cheap computer for the mass market. Released as the EEpC in late 2007. Now, the Indian government has invited their computer developers to build a $25 portable computer. I understand this will released in the very new future, like a countdown in weeks . Implications for the world economy?
Would be most interested in your opinion!!
My view is it shall be a step along the way to expanding world markets and boosting productivity, as much basic work moves to the third world.  Potentially,  an extra 2 Billion world consumers.  My perceived analogy is its like the removal of the Berlin wall, that introduced 1 Billion ex- communist peoples to the world markets.
