AUSTRALIA Population update effect on houses?

I, Can advise latest reports from the government are that Australia is increasing immigration yet again , to 440,000 from prior level of 350,000. Australia is arguably the fastest growing developed country.  Melbourne, in particular is benefiting from interstate migration.  Melbourne must be growing at close to 100,000 a year. No wonder property  prices are high and rising!!!
It’s Australia’s second city, by my estimate it will grow bigger than Sydney within eight years. Currently ranked forth amongst world’s most liveable cities.!!!
